Health Insurance

Introduction

Since 2001, the Government of Rwanda has embarked on a commendable initiative, providing citizens across the country with access to vital health services through a health insurance program. A modest payment of 3000 Rwandan francs, equivalent to $3 per year, grants citizens the privilege of medical assistance. However, for some of our most vulnerable individuals, including widows, single mothers from Tabitha New Life of Hope, and male members of Gideon's Generals of Christ, this financial commitment remains beyond their means. Our project seeks to bridge this gap, ensuring that these families can access essential healthcare services without worry.

Project Details

The challenge we address pertains to providing health insurance coverage for these vulnerable families who are unable to afford the annual payment. Our goal is to secure 500 health insurance packages each year, allowing these families to access vital medical facilities and services. The total cost for these 500 health insurance packages amounts to $1500.
